Maharashtra Speeds Up Pune, Thane Traffic Projects With ₹50,000 Crore Highway Push

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde launched the ₹200 crore Teen Hath Naka project in Thane on July 26. The project includes multi-level flyovers and subways and aims to reduce four-to-five-minute waits to 15 seconds while connecting key areas within 18 months.

In Pune, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis approved three National Highway projects and directed the fast-tracking of several major transport initiatives. These include a 43.6 km mass transit route, an 83 km ring road, and underground tunnels designed to reduce city traffic by 25-30%.
